We're a Denver food truck. No, not one of those beat up looking delivery trucks slinging tacos out the back at construction workers. You can think of us as a gourmet restaurant on wheels! When we competed in the Denver Burger Battle (as the only food truck in the competition), we took home the bronze medal by beating out dozens of Denver's top brick-and-mortar burger restaurants.
El Toro The Tot hit the streets of Denver in 2013 with a simple dream to create food so good that people won't believe it came off a truck. We offer a new take on the American classics, burgers and tater tots. Influenced by the flavors of Spain, our menu is packed with ingredients that are sure to excite your taste buds. Oh, and did we say that our tots are STUFFED with bacon!
We source the finest ingredients and prepare everything by hand. Each year we grind thousands of pounds of beef, shred what seems to be millions of potatoes, chop thousands of veggies, and drive countless miles all around Denver — and we do it to make your life taste better.
El Toro The Tot was founded by, and is managed by, Vincent and Chrissy Burns, husband and wife who are graduates of The Culinary Institute of America and have more than a decade of fine dining experience, and Vincent's older brother, Jared Burns, a serial entrepreneur. Chef Vince is the creative genius behind our mouth-watering menu and is an all-around burger enthusiast.
